After the success of its first edition, the Tahe Advanced Barber Awards are back with a second edition that raises the level of demand and creativity in the world of professional barbering.

Two competition phases: online and on-site finals
The competition consists of two main phases. In the first, which is online, participants must submit their entries by September 17 with a series of six photographs per entry: three images before and three after the work is done, with front, side and rear views. Originality and technical accuracy will be the key factors in the judges’ evaluation.
In the second phase, the on-site final to be held on November 9 at Tahe Advanced Barber’s facilities in Alhama de Murcia, the five best in each category will compete live.
There they will have to perform a new proposal in front of the jury and the public, who will evaluate their skills in real time. In the case of the ‘Collections’ category, the finalists will be selected in the online phase and evaluated exclusively by the work submitted, without the need to compete live.
New categories for a more demanding challenge
This edition introduces important changes in its structure, with new categories that challenge both creativity and technical precision.
- The Rising Stars category, aimed at professionals under the age of 30, seeks to recognize the new generation of barbering talent.
- Creative Styling, a category that rewards creativity and innovation in cutting, challenges participants to present avant-garde proposals and original techniques.
- Cut and Beard, one of the main novelties of this edition, tests the barbers’ ability to harmoniously combine a cut with the beard design.
- Finally, the Collections category allows the development of a solid and coherent concept through a series of styles, where innovation and visual impact will be decisive in the jury’s evaluation.
More than 10.000€ in prizes
The winners of each category will receive a commemorative trophy, 1,000 euros in Tahe Advanced Barber products, a participation as a technician-accompanist in an international training course and free access to training courses for one year. The runners-up will receive 500 euros in Tahe Advanced Barber products, as well as a commemorative trophy and exclusive Tahe equipment. Third place winners will receive 300 euros in Tahe Advanced Barber products, along with a trophy and official merchandising.
The jury will be made up of five leading industry experts: Francisco Terrón, Antonio Navarro, Adrián Civera, Iñaki Molano and Salva Roda. They will be in charge of evaluating both the works presented in the online phase and the executions in the on-site final.
